It's hard to believe but it's that time of the year again - the beginning of a new school year. Welcome back!

School can accept postdated checks too. Do not hesitate to bring your child even if you cannot pay and your family is eligible for Zakat. School can get limited number of Zakat Fund Sponsors from local community members. You have to be eligible to accept Zakat and need to apply for Zakat fund.
Volunteers at school: Your children receive the best Islamic education when you and our dedicated teachers work as a team. It's a parents enthusiasm, support and involvement that inspires children to do their best; and a teacher's ability to teach what they need to learn. Together we can achieve wonderful things. We realize that each of our families is unique – with its own priorities, needs, talents, and time constraints -- and so we try to provide as many different kinds of opportunities for parental involvement as possible.
Request for Volunteers: Al-Noor Islamic School would not be the same without your support, and we would like to share opportunities with you to ensure the students’ positive learning experiences at Al-Noor. Please review the list to see if there are any areas that you would like to help out. Children love and enjoy having their own parent volunteers around. We are planning to start newer activities in the school to engage parents and students likewise. There is ample opportunity for everyone to participate. Please let us know if you would like to help out in any other capacity that are not listed below:
Teachers
Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Group Organizer
Monthly Family Night Organizer
Field Trip Coordinator
School/Masjid Safety, Security and Fire prevention Program Organizer

Student workshop & webinar Organizer

You can take a lead role on the above opportunities and build a team of volunteers or you can work within the team of your interest. Please let us know how you can help the school.
Open Communication: We encourage you to take time from your busy schedule to become familiar with our school, as well as SCHOOL WEBSITE. We are heavily depending on social media to communicate with parents and teachers. You will receive email periodically from school about school related matters. Give us feedback, suggestion and ideas how we can work together to make our school a better place for Islamic education.
School Time: Our school day begins at 10:00 am and students are expected to be in the Assembly (in the School Basement Hall) at that time. Please bring your child ON TIME.
In closing, thank you for your commitment to your child's Islamic education and we look forward to seeing you in the school regularly.
