Youth Group Blood Drive
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the MHIA Youth Group's Blood Drive on Saturday, February 24th from 10AM to 2PM at Masjid Al-Noor!
We are continuously collecting all types of non-perishable foods for our food bank to support local families in need.
Hearts for Syrian Refugees:
We are collecting money to support Syrian refugees. Donors will be recognized with a paper heart bearing their name on a wall in the masjid.
Kids with Cancer:
We are fundraising to support children diagnosed with cancer.

Al-Noor Islamic School is requesting donations to do more activities for students which will enhance students' learning. This will be done by arranging educational workshops, inviting guest speakers, arranging field trips, planning fun activities for kids and more.
Any amount is welcome. All donations are tax deductible. Please come forward and donate for this noble cause.

Weekend Islamic School:
Al-Noor Islamic School is a weekend school. We meet every Sunday according to our academic calendar.
Following are the school timings:
Morning Assembly: 10:00 am - 10:10 am
1st class session: 10:15 am - 12:00 noon
Lunch/Recess: 12:00 noon - 12:30 pm
2nd class session: 12:30 pm - 1:25 pm
Zuhr Prayer: 1:30 pm.
School dismissal: 1:45 pm
We are located in Wappingers Falls, New York.
The town of Wappingers Falls is situated in the beautiful Mid-Hudson Valley, Dutchess County, which is about 80 miles north of New York City.

Sunday school is seeking help from experienced Islamic school teachers to work with us as a volunteer teacher. Our school is a volunteer-base weekend school where Islamic education is provided to 200+ students. This volunteer-base position requires a real commitment to Islamic education, service and volunteerism. Enthusiasm to learn and teach and a good positive attitude will help to perform this job efficiently.
If you would like to become involved in educating young Muslims, gain teaching experience, and want to commit your time for the betterment of our next generation, please be a part of our volunteer teachers. You will be working as a team in each class with other volunteer teachers.
